Diablo 3 archon wizard gear shown in this video which provides about 150K DPS - 155K as shown in video on a paragon level 40 character - which cost well under 10 million gold. The total spend here was just shy of 8,700,000.
The current cost of gold on the RMAH on America's server is less than $1.50 per 50,000,000 gold. Between this video and an earlier video on how to gear a critical mass freeze wizard for under 10 million, you could probably spend $5.00 and gear all 5 hero classes in at least one play style, maybe even two.
